winter stories to us.
We made snowmen.

1/11/11: Under cozy blankets, Ms. Angel
read "Something From Nothing".
This story talked about quilts
that are made by hand & love.
She brought a homemade quilt
to show us the details.
We each got a piece of fabric
to take home, so we could
start one of our own.

1/4/11: At our first storyhour of 2011,
we read stories about mittens,
played a game about losing our mittens,
& colored winter scenes & mittens
to take home.
